El Paso country singer Julian Kalel, posted on his Instagram, he is auditioning on “American Idol”. The new season 24 begins Monday, Jan. 26<\/p>\n
“Since I began writing music, I dreamed of one day being on a stage where others who fought everyday battles could see how vulnerability and struggle can carry meaning beyond pain, and that staying another day is about more than survival – it’s about believing in yourself,” he wrote on his page.<\/p>\n
Kalel said in an interview with City Magazine that music has been his way to heal from struggles with mental health.<\/p>\n
He has been busy recording in Nashville and has a song, “Daring to Dream,” he’s promoting.<\/p>\n
Where to watch “American Idol”<\/p>\n
“American Idol” airs at 6 p.m. MT\/7 CT Monday on the ABC Network. “American Idol” Season 24 will be available to stream the following day on Hulu.<\/p>\n
