Houston Police are investigating four deaths in downtown Houston, all reported within a 12-hour span.<\/p>\n
HPD says no foul play is suspected in any of the cases and they are awaiting autopsy results.<\/p>\n
One woman was found deceased at Tranquility Park on Rusk Street around 9 am Monday morning. Around 1 pm, a deceased person was reported at the intersection of Congress and Milam Streets. That case did not initially appear suspicious, but the Medical Examiners has been assigned to investigate.<\/p>\n
Late Monday afternoon, Houston Fire crews were checking areas of downtown known to be occupied by the homeless, when they found a man and woman deceased under an overpass near Cogress Street and Hamilton Avenue. No foul play is suspected in that case either.<\/p>\n
HPD did not confirm is cold exposure played a role in the cases and they are awaiting the autopsy results.<\/p>\n
