FORT WORTH, TX\u00a0\u2014 Trinity Metro is beginning a\u00a0phased restoration of service today, Tuesday, Jan. 27, as winter weather impacts continue to ease across the region. Service levels reflect roadway conditions, operating readiness, and safety considerations for customers and team members.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe appreciate our customers\u2019 patience as we work through these challenging weather conditions,\u201d said\u00a0Richard Andreski, President and CEO of Trinity Metro. \u201cEvery service decision we make is focused on protecting the safety of our customers and our team members while restoring service as conditions allow.\u201d<\/p>\n

The following services are\u00a0operating Tuesday:<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0TEXRail\u00a0will begin service on an\u00a0hourly schedule\u00a0in the morning and is expected to\u00a0transition toward a regular schedule by the afternoon, as conditions allow.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Trinity Railway Express (TRE)\u00a0is operating on its\u00a0normal schedule.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Trinity Metro Bus service\u00a0will utilize a Saturday Ice Detour Schedule from\u00a0noon to 9p. Outbound service will end at 9p from Fort Worth Central Station.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0TRE Link\u00a0will operate beginning at 12:12p. on a\u00a0Saturday schedule.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0On-Demand paratransit\u00a0is operating for\u00a0life-sustaining trips only.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0On-Demand rideshare\u00a0will resume\u00a0normal service beginning at noon.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0CentrePort Circulator will not operate Tuesday\u00a0and is expected to resume service on\u00a0Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Customer Service will be available 5a \u2013 10p and Central Station Transit Kiosk from 10a \u2013 5p.<\/p>\n

Operational decisions continue to be guided by roadway accessibility, winter weather conditions, and safety considerations. Extreme cold and residual icy conditions may continue to affect travel, particularly for services that involve outdoor waiting or operation on local streets.\u00a0As temperatures are expected to fall below freezing later in the evening and overnight, Trinity Metro will continue to monitor conditions and may adjust service as necessary.<\/p>\n

allow extra travel time<\/p>\n

check the status of their service before leaving<\/p>\n

wear appropriate clothing for extreme cold temperatures<\/p>\n

use caution and be aware of slick or icy surfaces at stations, stops, and along walkways<\/p>\n
