FORT WORTH, Texas (KTVT) – Faris Hussain sprang into action Monday morning to help save a homeless woman he knows as Bobby.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen I heard her name, it was one of my good customers, so I instantly thought, no, no, no, we\u2019ve got to help her right now,\u201d Hussain said.<\/p>\n
Another regular had found Bobby frozen on the street, but Hussain was the only one strong enough to lift her. \u201cShe felt like a rock, as stiff as a rock. When I picked her up, her entire body just stayed in the same form no matter how I lifted her,\u201d he recalled.<\/p>\n
Once inside, Bobby began warming up and thanking everyone, saying she had been outside all night. Police and paramedics eventually arrived and took her to the hospital.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t really consider myself a hero,\u201d Hussain said. \u201cWe do this daily for our community.
