Sharon Gow, $1,625; no other qualified runs.<\/p>\n<p>2026 Fort Worth Stock Show &amp; Rodeo Barrel Racing Format Explained<\/p>\n<p>There are\u00a018 total performances\u00a0in the Fort Worth Stock Show &amp; Rodeo ProRodeo Tournament barrel racing, featuring\u00a0seven brackets of eight barrel racers\u00a0competing in back-to-back rounds during Performances 1\u201314.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament includes:<\/p>\n<p>One Wild Card Round\u00a0(Performance 15)<\/p>\n<p>Two Semifinal Rounds\u00a0(Performances 16\u201317)<\/p>\n<p>An eight-cowgirl Finals\u00a0(Performance 18)<\/p>\n<p>Performances 1\u201314: Progressive Rounds<\/p>\n<p>There will be\u00a0seven brackets of eight barrel racers\u00a0competing in back-to-back rounds.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0top two money-earning barrel racers in each bracket\u00a0(14 total) will advance to the Semifinals.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0third-highest money earner\u00a0in each bracket will advance to the Wild Card Round.<\/p>\n<p>Barrel racers who do not advance will be placed into a\u00a0non-qualifiers pool.<\/p>\n<p>At the conclusion of Bracket 7, the\u00a0top money-earning barrel racer from the non-qualifiers pool\u00a0will earn the\u00a0eighth and final spot\u00a0in the Wild Card Round.<\/p>\n<p>Performance 15: Wild Card Round<\/p>\n<p>From the\u00a0eight barrel racers\u00a0competing in the Wild Card Round, the\u00a0top two money-earners\u00a0will advance to the Semifinals.<br \/>All competitors advance on a\u00a0clean-slate format, with no previous money or times carried forward.<\/p>\n<p>Performances 16\u201317: Semifinal Rounds<\/p>\n<p>Barrel racers will each make\u00a0one run\u00a0in one of two Semifinal performances, again on a\u00a0clean-slate format.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0top four barrel racers from each performance\u00a0will advance to the Finals.<\/p>\n<p>Performance 18: The Finals<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0top barrel racers\u00a0will compete in the Finals with a\u00a0clean slate\u00a0\u2014 no previous times or money carried forward.<\/p>\n<p>On that day, the\u00a0fastest cowgirl\u00a0will earn the title of\u00a02026 Fort Worth Stock Show &amp; Rodeo ProRodeo Tournament Champion.<\/p>\n<p>What Is the Barrel Racing Payout at the Fort Worth Stock Show &amp; Rodeo?<\/p>\n<p>Barrel racing carries a\u00a0$306,000 purse\u00a0at the 2026 Fort Worth Stock Show &amp; Rodeo.<br \/>The barrel racing payout mirrors that of PRCA- sanctioned events at FWSSR.
