The San Antonio, Texas, native set a Houston freshman single-game scoring record, topping the previous mark by Cougar great Rob Williams against Rice during the 1979-80 season.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nFlemings became only the 12th Cougar in school history to score 40+ points in a game and recorded the third-highest point total by any Cougar in any class during a true\u00a0road game. With his impressive performance, Flemings was named to the Big 12 Starting Five of the Week for the for the fifth time this season and moved into the team lead with 17.0 points per game.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nWith three 3-pointers against #12\/12 Texas Tech last weekend, senior guard <a href=\"https:\/\/uhcougars.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/emanuel-sharp\/9540\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"9540\" target=\"_blank\">Emanuel Sharp<\/a> moved into sole possession of second with 264 treys in Houston career history.
