This marks the third traffic fatality in El Paso this year, according to a press release from the El Paso Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>The incident involved a 2016 Hyundai Tucson driven by 78-year-old William Beschle, of Chaparral, New Mexico, and a 2020 Ford F-350 driven by 46-year-old Carlos Jackson, also of Chaparral, New Mexico. Both vehicles were traveling northbound on Martin Luther King when Beschle attempted a right turn from a left-turn-only lane, leading to a collision with Jackson&#8217;s vehicle in the center lane. Beschle was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries and later died, stated the source.
