Temperatures were projected to drop from the 40s to the teens, dipping below freezing.<\/p>\n

The storm caused schools and businesses to shut down. Many on-campus events at UTA were canceled due to the weather, prompting students and nonessential faculty to shift to remote classes and work.<\/p>\n

UTA students and others around the Dallas-Fort Worth area found ways to get outdoors in the snow by building snowmen, sledding and playing soccer. <\/p>\n
