Update (January 27, 2026): A Chaparral man is dead after the crash on Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard at Stan Roberts last night.<\/p>\n
El Paso Police say that William Beschle, 78, tried to make a right turn onto Stan Roberts from the left-turn-only lane of Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. The attempt caused another driver to hit Beschle’s car.<\/p>\n
Emergency crews rushed Beschle to the hospital where he later died.<\/p>\n
Investigators say that the improper right-hand turn on Beschle’s part was a contributing factor in the crash.<\/p>\n
This is the third traffic fatality of the year, compared with three this time last year.<\/p>\n
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) — El Paso Police’s Special Traffic Investigators unit is at the scene of a crash in the Northeast tonight.<\/p>\n
It happened at 13158 Martin Luther King Blvd. around 5:30 p.m. EPPD says the crash involved serious injuries. EPPD has not yet said how many were injured. <\/p>\n
