When they entered the unit, they found a man \u2013 believed to be 20 years old \u2013 shot to death.<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/vlcsnap-2026-01-28-08h25m13s421.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-v-0dea8073=\"\"\/>  <\/p>\n<p data-v-2899190a=\"\">Police say it appears at least 20 shots were fired from outside the apartment into the unit. Investigators believe the unit was targeted, but police say it\u2019s unclear if the shooter or shooters knew exactly who was inside at the time.<\/p>\n<p> Investigation continues <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/vlcsnap-2026-01-28-08h24m25s249.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-v-0dea8073=\"\"\/>  <\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"KRIV\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-2899190a=\"\">What we don&#8217;t know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-2899190a=\"\">The man who was killed has not been publicly identified. The motive behind the shooting is also unclear.<\/p>\n<p data-v-2899190a=\"\">Police say they are searching for five to six persons of interest with whom they would like to speak.
