Prosper Rock Hill made the playoffs for the first time in program history last year, finishing in a tie for third in District 6-6A while setting a school record for most wins in a season as it was 6-5. Now in its sixth season of varsity football, Rock Hill has a shot to make the playoffs again.<\/p>\n
Rock Hill beat Plano East 24-7<\/a> last week as Nate Vincent threw for 250 yards and a touchdown, Bryce Allen had six catches for 108 yards and Rock Hill scored two touchdowns on fumble returns. It was the third win in four games for Rock Hill (4-3, 3-3) after an 0-2 start in district, and one of those victories was against Plano West, another team in the thick of the 6-6A playoff race.<\/p>\n Friday\u2019s Allen at Prosper game will determine the 6-6A title, but there are four other teams within a half-game of each other in the battle for the third and fourth playoff spots. Princeton (5-2, 3-2) has a half-game lead<\/a> over Rock Hill, Plano (4-3, 3-3) and Plano West (4-3, 3-3) with three weeks left in the regular season.<\/p>\n Rock Hill is helped by the fact it has already played Allen and Prosper, the two undefeated district leaders.
