And while the Top 10 searches during the storm say a lot about what was happening in the city, they also perfectly capture how El Paso handles rare cold weather.

El Paso Was Obsessed With the Weather

First things first, this one was no shocker, when snow shows up in the desert, everyone suddenly needs constant updates. Weather searches dominated the list, with El Paso residents refreshing forecasts, radar maps, and local conditions to see if the snow would stick, melt, or somehow do both at the same time.

Schools and Schedules Were Top of Mind

EPISD and student portals quickly climbed the rankings as families and students searched for updates. Snow days aren’t exactly common in El Paso, so the big question was simple: Is school happening or not? The snow may be gone, but the search history proves the city was fully locked in while it lasted.

El Paso Snowfall Seen From Around the City

El Paso caught snow just long enough for photos.
