The death of a man in Fort Worth<\/a> on Wednesday afternoon is suspected to have resulted from the recent bout of extreme cold weather<\/a> that blanketed North Texas, Fort Worth police said in a statement.<\/p>\n

Police responded to reports of an unresponsive person around 12:55 p.m. in the 6900 block of Northwest Loop 820.<\/p>\n

First responders pronounced the man dead at the scene, according to the statement.<\/p>\n

Homicide detectives were also notified, though no foul play is suspected at this time, the statement said.<\/p>\n

Police said the death is believed to be cold weather-related.<\/p>\n

The man\u2019s identity and cause of death will be released by the Tarrant County medical examiner\u2019s office.<\/p>\n

It was the second suspected cold weather death reported in Fort Worth in as many days.<\/p>\n

Shortly after 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to the 2900 block of E. Seminary Drive in reference to an unresponsive woman in a field.<\/p>\n
