Well, the 2026 Texas Tech football schedule has been released and it sure seems like something that the Red Raiders are going to enjoy playing.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Being fully transparent, I don\u2019t think the Red Raiders are going to have massive trouble with the folks that are on their schedule unless some teams are significantly better than we currently expect them to be or Texas Tech runs into unexpected injury issues for some horrifying reason.\u00a0<\/p>\n
I mean, this schedule that Texas Tech has for next season is something that the Red Raiders should be able to get through without too many issues. It\u2019s totally possible for the Texas Tech football team to get through it unbeaten.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The schedule, truly, isn\u2019t all that difficult and that\u2019s going to make folks more than just a little mad at the Big 12. And also probably at Texas Tech. Because, well, while the Big 12 set the conference schedule, that out of conference schedule isn\u2019t exactly all that imposing. And that combination probably isn\u2019t going to be something that people love!\u00a0<\/p>\n

When you consider how they moved from the Big 12 to the SEC and are now having to navigate a conference that is deeper, I get why they might be a bit upset about this one.\u00a0<\/p>\n This is why conversations at the end of the year PMO, Tech, ND and Oregon all have cake ahhh schedules but will claim they are better at 12-0 than other teams at 10-2 with way harder schedules.
