\u00a0January 29, 2026 \u2014 Clayton Youth Enrichment has announced its 2026\u20132027 Board of Directors and Executive Committee leadership, marking a year of leadership transition aligned with the organization\u2019s long-term strategic direction.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1975, Clayton serves over 7,000 children annually across Tarrant County through early childhood education, after-school programming, summer camps, and community-centered initiatives. Clayton is the largest nonprofit onsite provider of after-school programs in Tarrant County.<\/p>\n

The 2026\u20132027 Board of Directors\u2019 Executive Committee includes:
\u2022 Chairperson: Dr. Cara Walker, Director, Student Life and Engagement, Tarrant County College, Northeast Campus
\u2022 Immediate Past Chairperson: Lyn Willis, Tarrant County Juvenile Justice Administrator, Retired
\u2022 Vice Chairperson: Jarrett \u201cJay\u201d Jackson, Vice President, AMM Political
\u2022 Treasurer: Curtis Linscott, Attorney
\u2022 Secretary: Lucky Denenga, Director, Orthopedics Neurosciences and Rehab Service Line, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas
\u2022 Officer-at-Large: Heather Irby, Vice President, Human Resources & Safety, Standard Meat Company
\u2022 Officer-at-Large: Dr. Myrna Blanchard, Executive Director of Human Capital, Cleburne ISD<\/p>\n

Cara Walker, Jay Jackson, and Myrna Blanchard are new to the Executive Committee this year, joining returning officers and board members to guide Clayton\u2019s governance as the organization advances its long-term strategy focused on program quality, sustainability, and community impact.<\/p>\n

Ray noted that Clayton\u2019s board includes individuals with deep, personal connections to the organization, including those who participated in Clayton programs as children, such as Board officer Jay Jackson, as well as members whose own children have been served through Clayton\u2019s early childhood and after-school programs, including Board officer Lucky Denenga. Along with parents and former participants, the board is made up of community leaders, educators, and business professionals who bring a broad range of perspectives to the organization\u2019s governance and strategic direction.<\/p>\n
