{"id":142868,"date":"2026-01-29T17:38:07","date_gmt":"2026-01-29T17:38:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/142868\/"},"modified":"2026-01-29T17:38:07","modified_gmt":"2026-01-29T17:38:07","slug":"remains-of-missing-aransas-pass-woman-identified","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/142868\/","title":{"rendered":"Remains of missing Aransas Pass woman identified"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a press release, police said Lopez was first reported missing on May 31, 2025, after authorities received a call regarding her disappearance.<\/p>\n<p>On June 30, 2025, police, assisted by the Texas Rangers and South Central K9 Search and Rescue, conducted a search in a heavily wooded area on the north side of Aransas Pass, where Lopez was known to frequent.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Using cadaver K-9s, search teams discovered human remains, which were sent for DNA analysis.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In Nov. 2025, the results confirmed the remains belonged to Lopez. Aransas police said the update is being released now at the request of Lopez\u2019s family.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The investigation is still ongoing, and authorities have not released additional details.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information about Jennifer Lopez\u2019s death is urged to contact Aransas Pass Police Detective Sgt.
