Authorities in Houston are looking for the man responsible for a heist of sunglasses.<\/p>\n
The theft was reported last month at the Houston Premium Outlets Mall along the Northwest Freeway, according to Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
Deputies responded to the mall, located in the 29300 block of the Northwest Freeway, on Jan. 20, 2026, after receiving a report from the Sunglass Hut store.<\/p>\n
A store employee told deputies that a male suspect entered the business, selected multiple pairs of sunglasses, and ran out of the store without attempting to pay for the merchandise. <\/p>\n
The total value of the stolen items was reported to be $1,573.<\/p>\n
The suspect was later identified as Orlando Garcia, 31.<\/p>\n
Authorities say Garcia is currently wanted through Harris County on a theft charge related to the incident.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact our dispatch or your local law enforcement agency,\u201d Constable Herman said.<\/p>\n
