\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDuring their January City Council meetings, both Hollywood Park and Shavano Park approved ordinances ordering a general election for May 2.<\/p>\n

What you need to know<\/p>\n

The mayor and Place 2 and Place 4 council member seats are up for election in Hollywood Park. Shavano Park will hold elections for three alderman positions.<\/p>\n

Hollywood Park residents can file for candidacy until 5 p.m. Feb. 13. Candidate applications are available at the Hollywood Park Town Hall and on the elections page of the city website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The deadline for filing in Shavano Park is also Feb. 13, with the application packet available online<\/a> or printable at Shavano Park City Hall upon request.<\/p>\n
