{"id":143259,"date":"2026-01-29T23:06:06","date_gmt":"2026-01-29T23:06:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/143259\/"},"modified":"2026-01-29T23:06:06","modified_gmt":"2026-01-29T23:06:06","slug":"2-charged-in-lubbock-prostitution-investigation-involving-nearly-10-businesses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/143259\/","title":{"rendered":"2 charged in Lubbock prostitution investigation involving nearly 10 businesses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) &#8211; Two people are facing charges after a prostitution investigation into nearly 10 Lubbock businesses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Biwu Liu and Fu Gao were arrested and charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to court documents, investigators tied them to seven massage parlors around town where sexual favors were offered in exchange for money.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Liu is accused of creating advertisements for the parlors on websites known for prostitution services. Both he and Gao are accused of financing the parlors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Court documents also reveal the two owned Hot and Juicy Seafood on Frankford Ave. Investigators say money from the restaurant was also used to pay for the prostitution ring.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">They were both arrested last week and have since bonded out of the Lubbock County Detention Center.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 KCBD.
