A variety of Texas-shaped charms are available, plus Lone Star icons like cowboy hats, bluebonnets, and tacos.<\/p>\n<p>Those who want to keep it puro San Antonio can also pick up a few items specific to their hometown. James Avery has partnered with Whataburger for a <a href=\"https:\/\/sanantonio.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/whataburger-james-avery-ketchup-charms\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">fun enameled set<\/a>, and offers city-specific charms like one that says &#8220;Viva Fiesta&#8221; and another that depicts The Alamo. The concha and tamale charms have their own 210 bona fides.<\/p>\n<p>Although James Avery has expanded outside of Texas, the family-owned business is still rooted in its home state. The brand is designed in the Hill Country, and more than 90 percent of its jewelry is made in Kerrville, Comfort, Hondo, and Corpus Christi, according to the company. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven as we grow outside of the Lone Star state, we\u2019re continuously seeking ways to support and invest in locations close to home,\u201d Karina Dolgin, chief product and revenue officer, said in an earlier release. &#8220;This highly traveled area in San Antonio offers our guests a convenient location to discover new pieces, personalize their jewelry, and tell their stories.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation records, the new James Avery store is aiming to wrap up construction in May, although project details are subject to change. Once open, it will join a growing list of buzzy concepts, including Handel\u2019s Homemade Ice Cream, Dave\u2019s Hot Chicken, CAVA, and Portillo\u2019s.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The red-hot Schertz Station development has scored another bauble.
