{"id":14436,"date":"2025-10-21T20:06:07","date_gmt":"2025-10-21T20:06:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/14436\/"},"modified":"2025-10-21T20:06:07","modified_gmt":"2025-10-21T20:06:07","slug":"dart-silver-line-grand-opening-includes-special-dedication-at-12th-street-station","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/14436\/","title":{"rendered":"DART Silver Line grand opening includes special dedication at 12th Street Station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Plano&#8217;s 12th Street Station&#8217;s celebration will unveil a series of 16 windscreen installations with historic photos of Douglass Community members.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is set to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dart.org\/about\/news-and-events\/newsreleases\/newsrelease-detail\/dart-celebrates-the-opening-of-the-silver-line-with-10-community-station-events\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">celebrate<\/a> the launch of the 26-mile Silver Line with events on Oct. 25.<\/p>\n<p>The entire DART system will be free all day long on Oct. 25, with celebrations at each of the Silver Line\u2019s 10 stops. There will be general festivities like family-friendly games and activities, food trucks, small business vendors, guided train tours and community booths.
