Did someone just say \u201cwig?\u201d The Dallas Pride Parade, which has marched through Fair Park for Pride Month in June since 2019<\/a>, is moving to downtown Dallas for its 2026 celebration. <\/p>\n Dallas Pride<\/a>, the organization behind the annual LGBTQ+ festival during Pride Month, has partnered with Downtown Dallas Inc. for the move. With the relocation comes several other changes to the event\u2019s programming and schedule. <\/p>\n Previously, the Pride celebration was a multiday event that included several events separate from the parade. This year, it will be a single, all-day event on June 6, promising a \u201clighted extravaganza of rainbows\u201d beginning at 11 a.m. The parade itself will be moved from its early afternoon schedule in recent years and will now begin at 7 p.m., marching through downtown until 9 p.m.<\/p>\n Daytime activities will be spread across downtown, including Main Street Garden Park, Pegasus Plaza, Harwood Park and Pacific Plaza. For anyone who took public transit straight to Fair Park, multiple Pride locations will still be near downtown DART stations. Dallas Pride says more details on specific programming will be announced soon.<\/p>\n \u201cAs the sun sets, the parade will illuminate the city with lights, outrageous costumes<\/a>, and vibrant pride,\u201d Dallas Pride said in a press release.
