They found an adult male with a gunshot wound to the head.<\/p>\n<p>Despite life-saving efforts by police and Fort Worth Fire EMS, the victim died at a local hospital hours later.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators with the Gun Violence Unit said the shooting allegedly stemmed from a gathering of friends. Detectives said the argument began when the victim refused to share his french fries with the suspect.<\/p>\n<p>The disagreement quickly intensified. The suspect allegedly drew a weapon and shot the victim before fleeing the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Police have identified the suspected shooter, a resident of the same apartment complex. Officers searched the area and the suspect\u2019s home, but he remained at large as of Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDetectives are actively looking for the suspect to speak with him about the incident,\u201d the department said in a statement, per Fox 4 KDFW.<\/p>\n<p>Police emphasized the shooting appears isolated with no ongoing danger to the public.<\/p>\n<p>The Tarrant County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office will release the victim\u2019s name after positive identification and family notification.
