After a long period of dry weather, thunderstorms have returned to parts of Southeast Texas Tuesday.<\/p>\n

While it isn\u2019t a widespread rain event, some areas are seeing some isolated thunderstorms dropping heavy rainfall and producing lightning.<\/p>\n

As of just after 3 p.m., most of these storms are confined to coastal areas of Galveston and Brazoria counties. <\/p>\n

Other thunderstorms were located north of Houston in parts of Walker and San Jacinto counties.<\/p>\n
