EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 Two teens were arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in far east El Paso last year.<\/p>\n

Deputies arrested 17-year-old Giovanni Alberto Gutierrez and 17-year-old Gael Adrian Rodriguez.<\/p>\n

Both have been charged with murder.<\/p>\n

The victim, 39-year-old Jose Sanchez Garcia, was found with a gunshot wound to the torso and later died from his injuries on Dec. 16, 2025.<\/p>\n

The incident happened on the 14100 block of Fortuna on November 14, 2025, around 3 a.m. <\/p>\n

Upon arrival, deputies located Sanchez Garcia, who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. <\/p>\n

Sanchez Garcia was transported to a local hospital for treatment. <\/p>\n

The El Paso County Sheriff\u2019s Office Major Crimes Unit, in collaboration with the Texas Rangers, conducted an extensive investigation leading to the arrests.<\/p>\n

Sheriff Oscar Ugarte expressed gratitude for the collaboration, stating, “We will continue working to ensure justice is served and offenders are held accountable.” <\/p>\n

Both suspects are being held without bond.<\/p>\n
