\nLCU carried a 27\u201325 lead into halftime after holding the Patriots to just four points in the second quarter, but UT Tyler (13\u20136, 9\u20131 LSC) seized control after the break. The Patriots outscored the Lady Chaps 30\u201318 in the second half, limiting LCU to a season-low 45 points.

\nAfter trading early momentum, UT Tyler closed the first quarter on an 8\u20132 run to lead 21\u201316. Lubbock Christian responded with strong defensive pressure in the second quarter, holding UT Tyler to 2-of-14 shooting to reclaim the lead at halftime.

LCU, who closed last season ranked No.7 in the final WBCA Coaches Poll, opened this season at No.13 in the WBCA Preseason Coaches Poll. Cameron has faced one of the league’s most challenging schedules to date and has been competitive in recent outings, including a five-point loss to Midwestern State in its most recent game. \nAfter falling behind by as many as nine points early, the Lady Chaps seized control with a decisive 22\u20132 run that spanned the first and second quarters. That surge included a 16\u20130 stretch and fueled a dominant second period in which Cameron failed to score a field goal. LCU outscored the Aggies 17\u20134 in the quarter, forced repeated empty possessions, and built a halftime lead it would not relinquish. For the game, LCU limited Cameron to 29.6 percent shooting, forced 14 turnovers, and held a 13\u20139 edge in points off turnovers while extending its road winning streak to 14 games dating back to last season.
