They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 67-62 W against the Plano West Wolves. That’s the second time they’ve managed to beat them this season, as they also won 74-66 back in December of 2025.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Allen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nehemiah Lawrence, who posted 16 points and three steals. Giovanni Watt was another key player, shooting 56% from the field to rack up 15 points and six rebounds.

Allen’s win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Plano West, their loss dropped their record down to 19-9.

Looking ahead, Allen won’t have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Princeton at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Eagles will be up against the Panthers’ rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.85 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Plano West, they and McKinney will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Wolves will be up against the Lions’ rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.39 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
