The Buccaneers will take on the Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Miller is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they’ve averaged 64 points per game this season.<\/p>\n On Friday, Miller took their contest with ease, bagging a 72-45 win over King. Given the Buccaneers’ advantage in MaxPreps’ Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 503rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 1261st) , the win wasn’t entirely unexpected.<\/p>\n Miller’s win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Izaiah Gidrey<\/a>, who shot 47% from the field en route to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charles Perry Jr<\/a>, who posted nine points along with seven assists and six steals.<\/p>\n Miller was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They are 17-6 when they’ve passed the ball that well.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Corpus Christi Moody took a blow against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial on Friday, falling 99-33. The Trojans have now taken an ‘L’ in back-to-back games.<\/p>\n Miller has been performing well recently as they’ve won three of their last four matchups. That’s provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. As for Corpus Christi Moody, their loss dropped their record down to 2-24.<\/p>\n Everything came up roses for Miller against Corpus Christi Moody when the teams last played on January 2nd, as the squad secured a 72-44 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the team won’t have the home-court advantage this time around. We’ll see if the change in venue makes a difference.<\/p>\n
