Mohammad Dawood Alokozay, the Fort Worth terror suspect charged federally after allegedly threatening a bombing, was listed in a Texas Department of Public Safety database as a registered private security guard, records reviewed by The Dallas Express show.<\/p>\n
Alokozay was arrested<\/a> for making a terrorist threat in November 2025, as The Dallas Express reported at the time. In an online call, he allegedly threatened<\/a> to detonate a bomb in the DFW area \u2013 and said he \u201ccame to commit suicide.\u201d Alokozay is an Afghan national with reported Taliban<\/a> sympathies, who immigrated<\/a> under then-President Joe Biden\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n DPS records list Alokozay<\/a> as a Non-Commissioned Security Officer (unarmed) and show he was affiliated with Vigilant Private Security with a hire date of August 1, 2024. The Instagram account @fortworth_confidentia<\/a>l first posted screenshots of the DPS record, which The Dallas Express independently verified through the state database.<\/p>\n The DPS record does not indicate commissioned status or firearm authorization, and DPS rules state that employment as a commissioned or personal protection officer is not permitted prior to licensure.<\/p>\n The Dallas Express called Vigilant Private Security \u2013 apparently the only company by that name in the metroplex \u2013 asking if Alokozay worked for the company. A worker, who wished to remain unnamed, replied by asking who was calling.\u00a0<\/p>\n The reporter identified himself and explained Alokozay\u2019s charges.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI think you\u2019re calling the wrong number,\u201d the worker replied.<\/p>\n \u201cIs this Vigilant Private Security?\u201d the reporter asked.<\/p>\n \u201cYes,\u201d the worker replied.<\/p>\n The worker said Alokozay\u2019s name did not sound familiar, and said the company could not provide employment information.<\/p>\n Alokozay\u2019s license was issued<\/a> on September 10, 2024, and it expires the same day in 2026, according to the documents. His status was listed as \u201cRegistered or Substantially Complete Application,\u201d which DPS says permits employment only in a regulated, non-commissioned capacity after required application materials are submitted.<\/p>\n \u201cIn most cases, this will require, at a minimum, the submission of fingerprints and all required fees,\u201d the Texas DPS website reads<\/a>.<\/p>\n Alokozay\u2019s DPS record shows he completed Level II training<\/a>, which applies only to unarmed security roles. This consists of an online class on Texas security laws, professional responsibilities, emergencies, and ethics.\u00a0<\/p>\n Vigilant Private Security advertises unarmed security services<\/a> in Texas and California, according to its website. Its website and Yahoo page<\/a> use numerous<\/a> images that appear to be AI<\/a>-generated.<\/p>\n \u201cWe offer 24 hours unarmed guard services, ensuring a consistent, visible security presence,\u201d the website reads<\/a>. \u201cOur guards patrol venues like shopping centers, parking lots, and public spaces, discouraging criminal activities and providing peace of mind.\u201d<\/p>\n The Terror Threat<\/p>\n Alokozay, 30, allegedly vowed violence on a November 23 online video call with other Afghans, as The Dallas Express reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n He reportedly threatened<\/a> to commit a suicide attack on other participants of the call, along with \u201cinfidels\u201d and Americans. Specifically, he reportedly planned to build a bomb in his vehicle.\u00a0<\/p>\n Alokozay allegedly said the Taliban were \u201cdear to him.\u201d The Dallas Express obtained a six minute clip from the call, and roughly translated<\/a> some of the suspect\u2019s statements:\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ll do it here in America\u2026 we\u2019ll do it here in Fort Worth.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI came for you, I came to commit suicide on your head.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYes, I\u2019ll kill you.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe don\u2019t care about deportation, about dying, about these things.\u201d<\/p>\n Alokozay reportedly spoke<\/a> the Afghan dialect Dari in the call, which included at least two other men. He also allegedly referenced a yellow cooking oil container<\/a> commonly used by the Taliban to build improvised explosive devices.<\/p>\n Texas DPS troopers arrested<\/a> Alokozay and booked him into the Tarrant County Jail on November 25, as The Dallas Express <\/a>previously reported. He was booked as \u201cwhite\u201d due to outdated standards, and charged with making a terrorist threat.<\/p>\n Alokozay entered America under former President Joe Biden\u2019s \u201cOperation Allies Welcome.\u201d The same program admitted<\/a> the Afghan national who ambushed two National Guard soldiers outside the White House in November \u2013 only one of whom survived.<\/p>\n Soon after Alokozay\u2019s arrest, Attorney General Pamela Bondi said<\/a> he entered the country to kill Americans.<\/p>\n \u201cThis Afghan national came into America during the Biden administration and as alleged, explicitly stated that he came here in order to kill American citizens,\u201d Bondi said in a press release. \u201cThe public safety threat created by the Biden administration\u2019s vetting breakdown cannot be overstated.\u201d<\/p>\n
