SAN ANTONIO \u2014 The Magic<\/a> arrived to San Antonio<\/a> in the late afternoon Saturday ahead of their Sunday matchup against the Spurs<\/a> at Frost Bank Center.<\/p>\n

As for the Spurs themselves?<\/p>\n

They were stuck on a snow-filled tarmac more than 1,200 miles away in Charlotte before ultimately being forced to stay overnight in North Carolina because of a winter storm.<\/p>\n

Sunday\u2019s game between Orlando<\/a> (25-22) and San Antonio (32-16) now will tip off at 7 p.m. ET due to the Spurs\u2019 travel issues, the NBA announced. The game was originally scheduled for 4 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n

Earlier Saturday, the Spurs fell at the Hornets 111-106 in a game that had been moved up from 3 p.m. ET to noon due to inclement weather.<\/p>\n

In a winter-storm warning shared Saturday afternoon, the National Weather Service<\/a> posted a memo for Charlotte and the surrounding areas to expect heavy snow between 1-7 inches and winds gusting as high as 35 mph.<\/p>\n

That left the Spurs stranded in Charlotte overnight Saturday after the team waited almost two hours to try to take off without any luck, according to San Antonio media.<\/p>\n

The Spurs triumphed 114-112 in Orlando during their first meeting of the season on Dec. 3.<\/a> Because they\u2019re in different conferences, they play each other only twice in the regular season.<\/p>\n

The Magic are scheduled to play at Oklahoma City on Tuesday night before returning home to host Brooklyn on Thursday this week.<\/p>\n
