With all vote centers reporting, Thomas received 6,131 votes, or 59.56%, while Aguilar-Epstein received 4,162 votes. Thomas will take the Place 7 seat on council following Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Julie Holmer’s resignation to run for Collin County Commissioners Court.<\/p>\n
