It seems a little silly to say that the rebounding battle between the Lady Raiders and the TCU Horned Frogs might be what ultimately what decides this matchup between ranked Big 12 women\u2019s basketball teams, but after seeing how much Texas Tech struggled in the paint and to grab rebounds against the likes of the Iowa State Cyclones, I\u2019m a little concerned here!\u00a0<\/p>\n
Texas Tech really had issues going out and competing with Iowa State\u2019s front court and now the Lady Raiders are going to try to beat a high scoring team that is at the top of the Big 12. No pressure or anything.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Truly, I think this is an area that multiple teams have found ways to exploit and talented juggernauts like the Horned Frogs might be able to build off that formula.<\/p>\n
TCU is currently grabbing 42 rebounds per game. That\u2019s not just near the top in the Big 12, that\u2019s the very best the conference has to offer right now. Meanwhile, Texas Tech averages just 36.4 rebounds per game, which ranks at No.12 in the conference.<\/p>\n
TCU hasn\u2019t been as dominant on the boards in Big 12 play as the Horned Frogs are grabbing just 36.7 rebounds per game against Big 12 teams, but the Lady Raiders aren\u2019t any better here as they\u2019re getting just 32.7 rebounds per game in Big 12 matchups.
