EL PASO, Texas \u2014 El Paso residents gathered Saturday morning in Northeast El Paso to celebrate local artist and community figure Krystall Poppin with a parade and community bazaar honoring her impact on music, culture, and hometown pride.<\/p>\n
Following the parade, a fundraising bazaar was held at Our Lady of Assumption Church, bringing together families, fans, and local supporters.<\/p>\n
The celebration comes after a recent proclamation by El Paso City Council officially designating Jan. 27 as \u201cKrystall Poppin Day,\u201d recognizing her influence on music and her role in representing El Paso on a national stage. <\/p>\n
Most recently, Krystall performed her original song \u201cThe Moment\u201d during a performance in Puerto Rico as Stephanie Han took the stage.<\/p>\n
Organizers described the event as a celebration of community and local talent.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is more than a parade\u2014it\u2019s a call to action,\u201d organizers said in a statement. \u201cIt\u2019s about showing up for our own, celebrating local talent, and reminding the world that El Paso raises stars.\u201d<\/p>\n
Community members were encouraged to attend, wear El Paso pride, and celebrate an artist who continues to uplift her hometown through her work and community involvement.<\/p>\n
