Living in Lubbock means waking up every day and immediately making at least one decision you already know is dumb. Not in a dramatic way. Just quietly. Casually. With confidence.<\/p>\n
The RockShow on 94.5 KFMX asked locals to admit something they just can’t seem to stop doing for a morning show segment. The answers were gold.<\/p>\n

A lot of us start by doing the absolute worst thing imaginable: waking up. From there, we roll straight into going to work, sometimes multiple times a day if you count thinking about it, complaining about it, and actually showing up. Several people admitted this is the dumbest thing they do over and over, which feels correct and deeply unifying.<\/p>\n

We eat our packed lunches during our 9 am break instead of waiting for lunch, drink sweet tea despite medical advice, and ask toddlers if they\u2019re hungry, knowing full well they\u2019re about to lie. Puppies around litter boxes. Exes who swear they\u2019ve changed. People who give advice.
