{"id":147776,"date":"2026-02-02T18:19:06","date_gmt":"2026-02-02T18:19:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/147776\/"},"modified":"2026-02-02T18:19:06","modified_gmt":"2026-02-02T18:19:06","slug":"arlington-hall-floods-dallas-voice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/147776\/","title":{"rendered":"Arlington Hall floods &#8211; Dallas Voice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A defective sprinkler head in Arlington Hall caused 55,000 gallons of water to flood the dining room, ballroom and living room on Monday, Jan. 26.<\/p>\n<p>Dallas Fire-Rescue along with Turtle Creek Park Conservancy staff quickly brought the situation under control, according to TCPC CEO and President Tiffany Divis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirefighters entered the building, turned off the water and helped minimize damage,\u201d Divis wrote to park supporters. \u201cOur staff immediately began cleanup, removing 4\u20136 inches of standing water and drying the floors with mops, squeegees, fans, and humidifiers.
