The family of Bayleigh Reese is now offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the teenager’s safe return.<\/p>\n

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 The search continues for 16-year-old Bayleigh Reese, who has been missing for 14 days, as her grandparents now offer a private $500 reward for information leading to her safe return.<\/p>\n

Bayleigh’s grandmother Debbie Wishard told 3NEWS on Monday that the family is still looking tirelessly for Bayleigh, and multiple law enforcement agencies are now involved.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Wishards are putting up $500 of their own money, according to Nueces County Sheriff’s Office officials.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Reese was last seen Jan. 16 leaving her grandparents\u2019 home in the Calallen area and is believed to be in Corpus Christi, according to the Nueces County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Her family has been working alongside volunteers with South Texas Search and Rescue, who have spent recent days canvassing downtown Corpus Christi and other areas following reported sightings and tips from the public.<\/p>\n

Search efforts have included distributing flyers, checking areas near bus routes, and coordinating with local warming shelters as volunteers look for possible signs of Reese.<\/p>\n

Family members say the urgency is heightened because Reese relies on multiple daily medications for her mental health and has not had access to them since she disappeared.<\/p>\n

Dozens of volunteers have participated in the search, along with law enforcement cadets who have helped canvass neighborhoods and pass out flyers.<\/p>\n

Reese\u2019s grandparents say they are deeply worried for her safety and hope the $500 reward encourages anyone with information to come forward.<\/p>\n
