A Dallas police officer and two other people were shot during a disturbance call. It happened in the 4300 block of Woodhollow Drive in Dallas at about 8:40 Monday night.<\/p>\n
\u201cOfficers got to the apartment went inside and we had one person saying that he has a gun inside of the bathroom,\u201d Police Chief Daniel Comeaux said. \u201cAt that time, we heard a female yell from inside the bathroom. He has a gun. He has a gun.”<\/p>\n
Comeaux said officers went into the bathroom and that\u2019s when several shots were fired. Two people at the apartment were shot.<\/p>\n
\u201cBoth were transported to the hospital. One of them is in surgery. The other one\u2019s in stable condition. The officer also took a round to his vest,\u201d Comeaux said.<\/p>\n
Comeaux said the officer is in good condition and he was headed to the hospital just after the shooting.<\/p>\n
He said two officers fired their weapons and there were approximately 10 people inside the apartment at the time of the shooting.<\/p>\n
Right now, Comeaux said it appears the two people in the apartment unit were related.<\/p>\n
