It\u2019s a busy day in the weather center after tracking a tornado warning in Liberty Country that has now expired. We\u2019ll continue to track a line of thunderstorms into the Houston area for your ride home from work into the evening. <\/p>\n

6:00 PM:<\/p>\n
We\u2019ll continue to track rain and thunderstorms for areas north of I-10. <\/p>\n

By 8 tonight, we\u2019ll watch areas near I-10 including Katy, Jersey Village all the way east to Liberty.<\/p>\n

9 tonight: We\u2019ll watch for thunderstorms to develop near I-10 and south of I-10.<\/p>\n

After the Front: We\u2019ll notice a drop in temperatures, but it won\u2019t be as dramatic as we\u2019ve seen the past couple of weekends. Our highs will go from the 70s back to the 60s for a few days. However, a high-pressure system will have us back in the 70+s by Friday.<\/p>\n

The cold front arrives Tuesday cooling temperatures for Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures are forecast to warm back up too, with highs approaching the 70s just in time for Super Bowl Sunday.<\/p>\n
