{"id":150072,"date":"2026-02-04T03:38:30","date_gmt":"2026-02-04T03:38:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/150072\/"},"modified":"2026-02-04T03:38:30","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T03:38:30","slug":"fire-shuts-down-blue-goose-cantina-days-after-north-richland-hills-opening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/150072\/","title":{"rendered":"Fire shuts down Blue Goose Cantina days after North Richland Hills opening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A fire at the newly opened Blue Goose Cantina in Tarrant County forces a temporary closure.<\/p>\n<p>NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas \u2014 Last week, a fire broke out early Saturday morning at the Blue Goose Cantina in North Richland Hills, the restaurant said.<\/p>\n<p>The fire was quickly conained and no injuries were reported, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are incredibly grateful that everyone is safe and thankful for the quick response of the North Richland Hills Fire Department,\u201d said Nick Peterson, CEO of Peterson Management Group, the parent company of Blue Goose Cantina.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant, which opened just 10 days earlier on Jan. 21 at 9005 N. Tarrant Parkway near Precinct Line Road and Davis Boulevard, will be temporarily closed for several weeks for assessments and repairs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a disappointing setback, especially after our team worked so hard to open this location and begin building meaningful connections within the community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s Blue Goose Cantina&#8217;s first location in the city and ninth across North Texas, seating about 250 inside and more than 100 on the patio.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We appreciate the patience and support we\u2019ve already received and look forward to welcoming guests back as soon as it is safe to do so,&#8217; Peterson said.<\/p>\n<p>The cause of the fire was not immediately released.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A fire at the newly opened Blue Goose Cantina in Tarrant County forces a temporary closure.
