Two inmates who escaped from Tarrant County custody on separate occasions this week are now back behind bars, according to the Tarrant County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
Authorities say<\/a> both escapes happened within days of each other and prompted brief searches before deputies and police located the men and returned them to jail.<\/p>\n The first escape happened when an inmate slipped out of a transport van<\/a> in Fort Worth while being moved between facilities. Deputies quickly set up a search in the surrounding industrial area, and the man was captured later the same day without incident.<\/p>\n Just a day later, a second inmate fled from a work detail at a county-operated laundry facility.
