LIVINGSTON, Texas \u2014 A 62-year-old woman was arrested Saturday morning after assaulting an officer at the Livingston Police Department, according to a press release from the department.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The woman, identified as Brenda Bradshaw of Livingston, was taken into custody without serious injury to the officer.<\/p>\n
Bradshaw entered the police department lobby requesting to speak with a specific officer with whom she felt comfortable due to past interactions. When the officer arrived, Bradshaw unexpectedly assaulted him by punching and kicking, stated the source.\u00a0<\/p>\n
During the investigation, officers discovered Bradshaw was in possession of a loaded pistol at the time of the incident.
