A meteorologist from North Texas has joined the weather team at Fox 4 (KDFW-TV). <\/p>\n

Josh Johns, a Cleburne native, started at the Dallas station this week. He will be working the weekend evening shift and three days during the week, a spokesperson for the station said. He\u2019ll also team up with Fox 4\u2019s chief meteorologist, Dan Henry, in the evenings during severe weather events. <\/p>\n

Johns comes to Dallas from Waco, where he worked for over six years at 25 News (KXXV-TV), most recently as a weekday morning meteorologist. He previously worked at KSAN-TV and KLST-TV in San Angelo and graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in meteorology. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always had the desire to forecast for my hometown, those I grew up with, and my family,\u201d he wrote in a Facebook post<\/a> last month, announcing his new job at Fox 4. \u201cFew get that opportunity, and I feel truly blessed and humbled,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

He isn\u2019t the only new face from North Texas to join the station recently. Meteorologist Berkeley Taylor<\/a>, a Mansfield native, began there last month. <\/p>\n

Their additions follow the departures of meteorologists Julia Fife<\/a> (in December), Evan Andrews<\/a> (in October) and Dylan Federico<\/a> (in July). Meteorologist Kylie Capps<\/a> also recently moved from her weekend morning shift to working weekdays at 4 p.m.<\/p>\n
