Miller<\/a> waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins… but they left with three. They blew past the Corpus Christi Moody Trojans<\/a> 80-48. The Buccaneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.<\/p>\n Leading Miller to victory were Charles Perry Jr<\/a> and Laythan Wilson<\/a>. Perry Jr posted 17 points and six steals, while Wilson almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds. Perry Jr has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times he’s played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Smith<\/a>, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards.<\/p>\n Miller was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They are 18-6 when they’ve passed the ball that well.<\/p>\n Miller’s victory bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Corpus Christi Moody, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-25.<\/p>\n Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miller will square off against Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Buccaneers will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Corpus Christi Moody, they will take on Ray at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans’ defense better be ready for this one: the Texans have averaged an impressive 65.5 points per game this season.<\/p>\n
