The facility received $100 million in state funding, which was approved by the Texas Legislature in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Highlights from the new facility include advanced simulation labs, state-of-the-art classrooms, clinical training areas, therapy training areas, outdoor learning and therapy spaces and collaborative work spaces.<\/p>\n<p>The Health Sciences Center will also have the Neva Hudiburgh Cochran Wellness Kitchen, which supports nutrition education, and the Dawn S.
