COLLEGE STATION, Texas \u2013\u00a0The UT Arlington track &Field team returns to action this weekend at the 2026 Charlie Thomas Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M at the R.A “Murray” Fasken ’38 Indoor Track in Bryan-College Station. The two-day meet is scheduled from Friday, Feb. 6 through Saturday, Feb. 7. \u00a0

\nCompetition on Friday begins with combined events at 11 a.m. CT, opening with the men’s heptathlon and women’s pentathlon.
\n\u00a0
\nField events are scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. CT, starting with women’s weight throw. Additional field finals such as men’s shot put, pole vault, long jump and high jump will continue into the evening.
\n\u00a0
\nRunning events will get underway at 5 p.m. CT, beginning with the women’s 200 meters. Friday’s track slate includes the 200m, 5000m and 400m events. The first day of competition is projected to conclude at approximately 7:45 p.m. CT.

\nSaturday’s action resumes with combined events at 11 a.m. CT, continuing the men’s heptathlon.
\n\u00a0
\nField events will also open at 11 a.m. CT, starting with the men’s weight throw. Field competition will continue throughout the afternoon, including the women’s and men’s triple jump, women’s shot put and women’s pole vault finals.

\nRunning events are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. CT with sectioned 3000-meter races. The afternoon track schedule features the 60m, 60m hurdles, mile, 800m, 1000m and 4×400 relay. The meet is expected to wrap up at approximately 6:15 p.m.
