Property values rose 3.79% to $64.6 billion, including $650.8 million in new development.<\/p>\n<p>Public Safety Gets A\u00a0Boost<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.localprofile.com\/community\/how-the-plano-police-department-keeps-the-city-safe-10112541\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Public safety<\/a> remains a priority. New funding includes:<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t$294,427 for firefighter gear and emergency response upgrades&#13;<br \/>\n\t$247,836 for two crime information specialists to support the Real Time Information Center&#13;<br \/>\n\t$82,592 for an additional E-911 operator (The city will also maintain 24 school resource officers, with districts covering half of the salary costs).&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Capital Projects Top $300 Million<\/p>\n<p>The Community Investment Program outlines $321 million in capital projects, powered by 2023 bond funding and utility revenues.
