Houston\u2019s illegal-alien and crime problems are rearing their heads again\u2014this time involving two illegal aliens connected to the murder of an 18-year-old. At least one of the illegals already had a criminal history.<\/p>\n

According to reports from <\/a>The Texan News<\/a>, Nicaraguan national Jose Padilla\u2014who first entered the U.S. under the Biden administration in 2022\u2014was one of three people, including two illegal aliens, arrested in connection with the murder of Juan \u201cMiguel\u201d Acosta-Vasquez.<\/p>\n

The Texan News\u2019 Holly Hansen explained that Padilla had already been arrested and released back in December. \u201cHe was arrested for unlawful carrying of a weapon and discharging a weapon in a public place,\u201d she said, \u201cbut those are all misdemeanor charges.\u201d<\/p>\n

Because they were misdemeanor charges, Padilla was given a general order bond, which doesn\u2019t require the suspect to make any payment before being released. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez<\/a>, he was re-arrested Friday.<\/p>\n

Many are wondering how an illegal alien was able to get out of jail after the original misdemeanor charges, given that he is illegally present in the United States. Hansen said: \u201cThe question is whether or not the arresting officer in these misdemeanor cases checked for an ICE detainer. It\u2019s unclear.\u201d<\/p>\n
