The front office for the Dallas Mavericks<\/a> is off and running ahead of the NBA trade deadline. <\/p>\n

On Tuesday, they made one of the league\u2019s biggest splashes sending Anthony Davis to Washington<\/a> in a massive deal. <\/p>\n

The trade deadline is set for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. <\/p>\n

NBA trade deadline updates<\/p>\n

Wednesday, 3:15 p.m.: Despite reported conversations with other teams, Daniel Gafford remains on the Dallas Mavericks roster post-deadline. <\/p>\n

Wednesday, 1:55 p.m.: The Mavericks have acquired guard Tyus Jones from Charlotte in exchange for Malaki Branham, a person familiar with the decision confirmed to The Dallas Morning News.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, 1:15 p.m.: According to multiple reports, the Indiana Pacers are acquiring Los Angeles Clippers center Ivica Zubac just before the deadline.<\/p>\n

In exchange, the Pacers are sending Bennedict Mathurin, Isaiah Jackson, two first-round picks and one second-round pick to the Clippers for Zubac and Kobe Brown, according to ESPN.<\/p>\n

Another potential destination for Daniel Gafford off the list. <\/p>\n

Wednesday, 11:00 a.m.: NBA insider Jake Fischer<\/a> reported Wednesday afternoon that Mavericks big man Daniel Gafford remains a leading target as the Indiana Pacers attempt to find a starting center for Tyrese Haliburton next season.<\/p>\n

Dallas was also reportedly in talks with the Atlanta Hawks about Gafford. However, the Hawks have since completed a deal to acquire center Jock Landale<\/a> from the Utah Jazz in exchange for cash considerations.<\/p>\n

As of Tuesday night, Fischer reported the Mavericks are seeking first-round draft capital<\/a> for Gafford.<\/p>\n

Mavericks trades<\/p>\n

– The Dallas Mavericks sent Anthony Davis to the Washington Wizards as part of a massive deal including multiple players and draft picks. <\/p>\n

Davis, a 10-time NBA All-Star, will join the Wizards along with Jaden Hardy, D\u2019Angelo Russell and Dante Exum in exchange for Khris Middleton, AJ Johnson, Malaki Branham, Marvin Bagley III, two first-round and three second-round draft picks. <\/p>\n

Davis and Kyrie Irving were supposed to take the post-Doncic Mavericks back to the NBA Finals, but they played just three quarters together, and the duo never had an opportunity to play alongside Cooper Flagg as a versatile trio of No. 1 overall picks.<\/p>\n

No intention of coming across as alarmist, but as a statement of fact reminder, NBA trades aren\u2019t complete until all players pass physicals from their prospective new team.<\/p>\n
