\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Round Rock Chamber 58th Annual Business Awards was held at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock Feb. 5, celebrating the community\u2019s most accomplished businesses, leaders and organizations.<\/p>\n

Overview<\/p>\n
Frost Bank<\/a> was named the Round Rock Chamber\u2019s Business of the Year. Other finalists included A+ Federal Credit Union<\/a> and Texas Baptist Children\u2019s Home<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Best Place to Work award was given to Express Commercial Cleaning<\/a>, with Hearthstone Nursing & Rehabilitation<\/a> and the Round Rock Area Serving Center<\/a> also being named finalists.<\/p>\n Purely Provisions<\/a> received the Newcomer of the Year award. The local eater on Main Street was named a finalist along with Beacon Hospice<\/a> and Coffee Milk Media<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Big Boy Hester<\/a> Small Business of the Year award was given to No Time for Social<\/a>. The other finalists were Spencer Pierce Architecture + Interiors<\/a> and Stone Cash Coffee<\/a>.<\/p>\n Julie Sharifian, of Corridor Title<\/a>, was named the Investor of the Year. Also in the running were Bill Combes, with No Time for Social, and Bryan Eisenberg, of A Place at Home<\/a>.<\/p>\n Eisenberg was named the Entrepreneur of the Year. Combes and Michelle Ly, owner of The Rock Sports Bar, were named finalists.<\/p>\n The Chamber\u2019s Emerging Leader award was given to Lucia Murguia, of Westwood Professional Services<\/a>. Tanner O\u2019Brien, of ActionCOACH Central Texas<\/a>, and Batya Porter, with Horizon Realty<\/a>, were also named finalists.<\/p>\n Stephanie Tyler, with Round the Rock<\/a>, was named Ambassador of the Year. Also in the running were Eisenberg and Don Sesler, of Sageplan Technology Consulting<\/a>.<\/p>\n What else?<\/p>\n The Chamber also celebrated its Citizen of the Year and Lifetime Achievement awards. Selicia Sanchez-Adame, with Think Group<\/a>, received the Citizen of the Year honors. Meanwhile, Debbie Rippstein Bond, with Texas Baptist Children\u2019s Home, received the Lifetime Achievement award.<\/p>\n In case you missed it<\/p>\n Frost Bank is in the middle of an expansion, opening new locations throughout Central Texas. Recently, the bank made plans to open a new Round Rock location<\/a> near the intersection of East Palm Valley Boulevard and A.W. Grimes Boulevard.<\/p>\n The Round Rock Area Serving Center has been undergoing a major expansion<\/a>. In 2022, the nonprofit organization broke ground on a 16,000-square-foot space to serve as its resale shop<\/a> and allow the center to expand its food pantry.<\/p>\n
