EL PASO, Texas (KTSM<\/a>) \u2014 The Texas Department of Transportation has released a list of road closures for the week of Feb. 6, 2026, including alternate road closures near Vinton and full lane closures on Loop 375 near Zaragoza.<\/p>\n

I-10 Widening West<\/p>\n

Saturday, Feb. 7 to Saturday, Feb. 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (as needed weekly) and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Saturday as needed).<\/p>\n

North and South Desert between Vinton and Mesa alternate lane closures.<\/p>\n

Crews will be working on miscellaneous construction work.<\/p>\n

I-10 east and westbound between Vinton and Mesa (daily) alternate lane closures.<\/p>\n

Crews will be sweeping, striping, power washing, and painting barrier on I-10.<\/p>\n

Monday, Feb. 9 to Saturday, Feb. 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

Redd westbound between North Desert and South Desert right lane closed.<\/p>\n

Crews will be placing concrete median, riprap, and painting Redd bridge over turnaround lane.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, Feb. 10 to Thursday, Feb. 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

South Desert to North Desert Turnaround at Mesa closed.<\/p>\n

Crews will be sweeping and striping frontage roads.<\/p>\n

Loop 375 Widening Project<\/p>\n

Sunday, Feb. 8 to Thursday, Feb. 12, nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.<\/p>\n

Loop 375 southbound main lanes closed between I-10 and Zaragoza (Port of Entry).<\/p>\n

Crews will be working on ride quality operations.<\/p>\n

Monday, Feb. 9 to Friday, Feb. 13, daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

Loop 375 north and southbound alternating lane closures between I-10 and Padres Drive.<\/p>\n

Americas Avenue (frontage road) north and southbound alternating lane closures between I-10 and Padres Drive.<\/p>\n

Crews will be working on installing miscellaneous items, clean-up and striping.<\/p>\n

Road Repair<\/p>\n

Sunday, Feb. 8, from 6 a.m. to noon<\/p>\n

Oregon bridge right lane closed<\/p>\n

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

Monday, Feb. 9 to Tuesday, Feb. 10<\/p>\n

US-62\/180 Paisano eastbound at Cordova International Bridge alternate lane closure.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, February 11<\/p>\n

SH-20 (Doniphan) east and westbound between Mesa and Sunset alternate lane closure.<\/p>\n

Crews will be working on spall.<\/p>\n

Bridge Maintenance Project<\/p>\n

Sunday, Feb. 8 to Monday, Feb. 9, nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.<\/p>\n

I-110 northbound connector to I-10 eastbound closed.<\/p>\n

US 54 southbound connector to I-10 eastbound closed.<\/p>\n

I-10 East exit 23A will be closed.<\/p>\n

Crews will be performing maintenance work on bridge.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, Feb. 10 to Friday, Feb. 13, nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n

US 54 eastbound Montana Exit and Entrance Ramp closed.<\/p>\n

I-10 Widening West 2<\/p>\n

Monday, Feb. 9 through Saturday, Feb. 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Daily) and from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Nightly).<\/p>\n

I-10 east and westbound between Anthony and Nashua alternate lane closures.<\/p>\n

North and South Desert between Anthony and Nashua alternate lane closures.<\/p>\n

Crews will be working on concrete paving and paving trucks will be exiting the work area.<\/p>\n

Monday, Feb. 9 through Saturday, Feb. 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

Bypass lanes east and westbound between Redd and Mesa closed.<\/p>\n

Detour:<\/p>\n

Traffic will continue along South Desert, through the Thorn Intersection, and enter I-10 before Mesa.<\/p>\n

Traffic will continue along North Desert, through the Thorn Intersection, and enter I-10 before Redd.<\/p>\n

Crews will be completing construction on an ornamental fence at Thorn.<\/p>\n

Monday, Feb. 9 and Tuesday, Feb. 10, nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.<\/p>\n

I-10 westbound between Vinton and Anthony closed.<\/p>\n

Detour: Traffic will exit at Vinton, proceed onto South Desert through the Vinton and Anthony intersections, and enter I-10 westbound after Anthony.<\/p>\n

Crews will be placing beams at Bridge D.<\/p>\n

Artcraft<\/p>\n

Monday, Feb. 9 to Friday, Feb. 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.\u00a0(as needed)<\/p>\n

SH-178 (Artcraft) east and westbound between New Mexico State Line and Doniphan alternate lane closures.<\/p>\n

Crews will be working on illumination and wall installations.<\/p>\n

North Desert between Helen of Troy and Cheddars Restaurant alternate lane closures.<\/p>\n

South Desert between Charlie Clark Nissan and Blue-Sky alternate lane closures.<\/p>\n

Crews will be loading and unloading material and equipment.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, Feb. 11, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.<\/p>\n

Upper Valley Intersection (two lanes northbound and one westbound lane).<\/p>\n

Crews will be conducting a traffic switch.<\/p>\n

Borderland Expressway Phase 2<\/p>\n

Monday, Feb. 9 to Friday, Feb. 13, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n

US-54 east and westbound between Mesquite Hills and McCombs alternate lane closures.<\/p>\n

Mesquite Hills reduced to one lane between US-54 and Red Man. Flaggers will be on-site directing traffic as needed for haul trucks crossing Mesquite Hills.<\/p>\n

Upcoming Closures<\/p>\n

Beginning 4 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 21, to 6 a.m., Monday, Feb. 23 (50-hour closure)<\/p>\n

Martin Luther King (FM-3255) north and south bound between Stan Roberts (FM-2529) and O\u2019Hara Road (NM-404)<\/p>\n

Local traffic will be allowed to access businesses and residences between O-Hara Road and the Texas\/New Mexico State Line.<\/p>\n

Traffic will be detoured using NM-404, I-10, Loop 375 (Woodrow Bean\/Transmountain), and US-54.<\/p>\n

Crews will be working on a traffic switch to allow for construction of Martin Luther King new road configuration.<\/p>\n

Wyoming eastbound between Mesa and Kansas right lane closed.<\/p>\n

Friday, Feb. 13<\/p>\n

Desert North between Transmountain and Enchanted Springs left lane and on-ramp closed on Transmountain.<\/p>\n

Purple Heart 375 Widening Project<\/p>\n

Continuous closure beginning at 3 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14 to 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16<\/p>\n

Purple Heart Highway (Loop 375) northbound full closure from Montana Avenue and Spur 601.<\/p>\n

Crews will be installing culverts.<\/p>\n

I-10 westbound right lane closure between Lomaland Drive and Yarbrough Drive.<\/p>\n

Gateway West left lane closure at Zaragoza Road.<\/p>\n

Crews will be installing lighting and placing steel structures.<\/p>\n

Horizon\/Darrington Reconstruction Project<\/p>\n

Monday, Feb. 9 to Friday, Feb. 13, daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

Horizon Boulevard eastbound right lanes closed at Darrington Road intersection.<\/p>\n

Darrington Road alternating north and southbound lane closures between Horizon Boulevard and Pawling Drive.<\/p>\n

Crews will be working on electrical work in islands in intersection.<\/p>\n

Continuous closure until Friday, March 13 at 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

Darrington Road southbound full closure between Horizon Boulevard and Homestead Drive.<\/p>\n

Crews will be working on southbound Darrington Road.<\/p>\n

Continuous closure until March 2026<\/p>\n

Pete La Rue Circle will follow detour entrance and exit at Roslyn Drive.<\/p>\n

Crews will be working on storm culverts, final subgrade, pavement operations and milling.<\/p>\n
